PH.D. IN GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
Member of the Association of Engineers of the Syrian Arab Republic since 1999, no. 8265.
He obtained his Master's Degree in Engineering from Baath University with a dissertation on the mechanical behaviour of foundations on expansive soils. In the same University he worked as teaching assistant in the courses Soil mechanics and Foundation Design. After his graduation, he obtained a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering. Moreover, in 2008 he obtained a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
He specialized in the application of numerical methods in Geotechnical Engineering, and he is author and co-author of several papers in Journals and Technical Conferences. In particular, his field of expertise is the numerical modeling of unsaturated soils, for which he developed an original anisotropic constitutive model.

STRUCTURAL CIVIL ENGINEER
TECHNICIAN OF CONCRETE
Registered in the Engineers Association of "Provincia di Alessandria" n° 1742-A
Master's Degree in Structural Civil Engineering at University of Genoa in March 2003, with the thesis "Investigation on box girder with steel/FRC deck - Halsskov, Storebaelt East Bridge" , developed under the supervision of prof. Niels J. Gimsing at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) of Lyngby (DK). In the same year, achieved the professional qualification, starts design activity jointly with consulting, advising and collaboration in structural, geotechnical and architectural areas on behalf of engineering Companies in Italy. From 2007 he is concrete technologist qualified by the ASCI of Palermo. Thanks to such continuative collaborations, together with directly participation in constructions site, he specializes in calculation and modeling of the structural systems in concrete and steel, also in seismic contexts.

Hydrodinamic and Environmental Modeling
HYDRAULIC, ENVIRONMENT AND TERRITORY ENGINEER
Registered in the Engineers Association of "Provincia di Imperia" n° 736-A
Master's Degree in Hydraulic Engineering at the University of Genoa in 2003, with the thesis "Hydrodynamics and morpho-dynamic evolution of Tanaro river valley", developed under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Seminara. In 2008 he attends the School of Doctorate in Sciences Civil Engineering and Environment at the University of Padua, specializing in Hydrodynamics, Morphodynamic and Environmental Modeling. He specialized in the Hydraulic Design, in the Flood Control, in River Morphodynamics, in Management of shorelines and marine structures. He is engaged in collaboration and research activities in River and Hydraulic field with the Department of Engineering of Constructions, Environment and Territory (DICAT) at the University of Genoa. In the same Athenaeum he has also worked as Assistant Professor for the course of Hydraulics II and River Hydraulics.
STRUCTURAL AND TRANSPORTATION CIVIL ENGINEER
Registered in the Engineers Association of "Provincia di Genova" n° 9032-A
Master's Degree in Engineering, Structural Building Section, course of Transports, at University of L'Aquila in 1994, with the thesis "Non linear analysis of a roman bridge in masonry near Ascoli Piceno".
Achieved the professional qualification, he started his activities as Consultant and Designer in many Engineering Firms. He specialized in the Management of Public Contracts, as Manager in the field of "Calculations and Estimates" and in the field of "Tender Design".
